CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS: TRA SPORT E TURISMO

AREA: Worldwide Internet.

DURATION: Registrations for the contest begin on January 30, 2010 (the day in which the contest can be found on the Internet website) to March 22, 2010 (at 23.59’,59” GMT is when contest registrations close).

ELIGIBILITY: All Internet users 18 years or more are eligible to participate. Participants must have already booked a holiday in Tuscany or intend to book a holiday in Tuscany within 10 days of the announcement of the contest winners; participants must have also sent at least 4 postcards on the website to at least four friends via email. All residents in Tuscany are excluded from entering the contest.
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROMOTION: The contest aims to promote and augment tourism in Tuscany through the website: www.turismo.intoscana.it.

ADVERTISING: The contest will be advertised and promoted on the www.turismo.intoscana.it and www.intoscana.it websites; webpage banners will also be present on all international websites and links to the principal Social Networking sites, which will provide links to the contest’s website. The rules and regulations are available at www.turismo.intoscana.it/wintoscana.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: With the desire of obtaining the above-mentioned objective, the agency Leader Pubblicità e Marketing s.r.l., nominated by the Fondazione Sistema Toscana which heads the marketing campaign, Toscana- Voglio vivere così in Toscana”, intends to organize a prize-winning contest, called “Tra Sport e tourism” (“From sport to tourism”), which will be held with the terms and conditions listed below.

All those who access the website www.turismo.intoscana.it from January 30, 2010 to March 22, 2010 can participate. In the section entitled “Contests”, participants must complete the game called “Memory”, which is made up of 16 images that must be correctly matched in pairs on the grid indicated. There is no time limit to complete the game, nor are there any limits regarding the number of times you try to correctly match the pairs.
Only one entry is allowed per person for each contest.
The first step: each contestant must complete his/her registration by listing his/her email address and password. Once the postcards have been sent out, contestants must complete the information in the indicated spaces on the registration form; this is obligatory in order to take part in the final draw. Once this has been done, contestants will immediately receive an email (sent to the address given during registration) with a link; contestants must click the link to activate his/her registration to access to the services offered on the turismo.intoscana website.
Every time a contestants’ friend(s) enters the contest (they do so by clicking on the link in the email they received from the contestant) the name of the contestant that sent them the postcard will be included in a list that will be subject to a draw; the more friends that click the link, the better the chances are to win a prize.

PREREQUISITES TO ENTER To win a prize, every winner must prove that they have already booked a holiday in Tuscany, or prove that they are going to book a holiday in Tuscany within 10 days of the announcement of the contest winners. To claim a prize, every winner must send in the proper documentation (e.g. a plane ticket or hotel reservation) that attests to the holiday that has been booked, or that will be booked in Tuscany within the timeframe indicated for each prize.

PRIZE DRAW
All of the names of the contestants that have sent the required number of postcards and have correctly completed the registration form will be given a number. These numbers will be used to compile a list, from which organizers will draw the names of the prizewinners.
The draw takes place on MRCH 29, 2010 and will be held in Florence, either at the sponsor’s offices or at another location that will be announced. According to the rules and regulations of the contest, in the event that it is not possible to hold the draw on the date indicated above, an alternate date will be announced.

There are 5 prizes available for each winner; each prize is for two persons, as indicated below, and will be integrated with the holiday that winners have already booked or intend to book. Each winner can chose their own holiday among the 5 different locations and 5 different tourist sports listed below:

A first draw will extract the names of 4 participants to assign 4 prizes.
Another 20 names will be drawn as reserve winners, who may win in the event that the first 4 winners drawn are unavailable or have not satisfied the terms and conditions of the contest. All names in the list will be included in this draw, except those contestants who have Italian addresses.

After this, the fifth name will be drawn. This participant will win the fifth of the 5 available prizes. Another 5 names will be drawn as reserve winners, who may win in the event that the fifth winner drawn is unavailable or has not satisfied the terms and conditions of the contest. All names in the list with Italian addresses will be included in this draw.

PRIZES:
The prizes described below are alternatives, and the winner can chose which holiday to take among these, and only among these holidays listed.
The holiday-prize must be taken in the following period: from May 26, 2010 to June 30, 2010. The holiday can be booked depending on the space availability of each hotel indicated for each prize.

1) ON HORSEBACK IN THE MIDDLE AGES
A trip for 2 persons for 3 days in a hospitality structure of superior quality (like a Hotel, Agriturismo, BB) in Casentino, with half board
+ an excursion on horseback in the Casentino area with an instructor and guide – full day (7 hrs) with a packed lunch.
+ free entrance to 60 museums in Tuscany

2) ON HORSEBACK AMONG THE ALABASTRE
A trip for 2 persons for 3 days in a hospitality structure of superior quality (Hotel, Agriturismo, BB) in the area of Volterra, with half board
+ an excursion on horseback in the countryside around Volterra with an instructor-guide for one full day
+ free entrance to 60 museums in Tuscany

3) TREKKING ON THE HIGH ROADS
A trip for 2 persons for 3 days in a hospitality structure of superior quality (Hotel, Agriturismo, BB) in the Lunigiana, with half board
+ Trekking on the high roads of the Apuan Alps with an instructor- guide for one full day with a packed lunch
+ free entrance to 60 museums in Tuscany

4) CYCLING TOURISM ON MONT’AMIATA
A trip for 2 persons for 3 days in a hospitality structure of superior quality (Hotel, Agriturismo, BB) in Mont’Amiata, with half board
Biking in the parks and natural reserves of Mont’Amianta with an instructor-guide for a full day with a packed lunch
+ free entrance to 60 museums in Tuscany

5) FISHING WITH AN EXPERT (Surf-casting)
A trip for 2 persons for 3 days in a hospitality structure of superior quality (Hotel, Agriturismo, BB) on Giglio Island, with half pension
+ Surf-casting on the beaches of Giglio island with an expert fisherman, with all equipment provided, from 5pm until the early morning hours of the following day
+ free entrance to 60 museums in Tuscany

Each prize is valued at approximately 1,400.00 euro

CONTEST REQUIREMENTS: All operations will be carried out according to the contest rules and regulations.
The winners will be personally notified and they will receive via email (at the address indicated during registration) all of the relevant information needed to claim the prize.

The prize can be claimed only if contestants satisfy all of the rules and conditions, described in “PREREQUISITES TO ENTER THE CONTEST”.

If the winner fails to claim their prize within 5 calendar days from the date of notification, he/she will lose rights to the prize and the first reserve winner will be contacted.
The prizes may be claimed and used according to the dates indicated above.
If a winner cannot make use of the prize, they can appoint another person of their choice as winner; this action must be communicated and will depend on the authorization released by the promotional agency.
The firm organizing the contest is not liable for any inscribable errors or problems that may arise because of technical failures on the part of contest software or website.

All prizes are not convertible to cash or coins.

This contest is excluded from the application of the law DPR N. 430/2001 ai sensi dell’art. 6 comma 1 lettera e).
PRIVACY: Contestants agree to the use of their personal information by the agency Leader Pubblicità e Marketing, and consequentially by Fondazione Sistema Toscana, when completing their registration. The privacy briefing can be found at www.turismo.intoscana.it. The personal data given upon entering the contest will be treated according to the law D.Lgs 196/2003. The release of one’s own personal data, by the contestants, is tantamount to the authorization of the contestant to the publication of his/her first and last name, which they have indicated in their contest registration, in the contest promotional material and advertising carried out by the agency Leader Pubblicità e Marketing.
DISPUTES: Every dispute will be adjudicated by the Fondazione Sistema Toscana, which is the main sponsor of the registered marketing campaign Toscana Voglio vivere così in Toscana.
