Trattoria ZàZà set behind the San Lorenzo Market, was an old wine-shop when it opened in 1977. At the time you could just get “crostini neri” or a slice of salami with your wine, but with time it naturally transformed into a rustic tavern where the knowing locals could eat traditional dishes like Pappa al Pomodoro, Ribollita, Baccalà alla Livornese and finish with Tiramisù served in a wine glass – all in a welcoming, no-fuss atmosphere.
Today ZàZà has a website from which you can make your reservation and even shop on line.
Trattoria ZàZà is located in Piazza del Mercato Centrale in Florence, right near Trattoria da Mario.

I have been to this one. It is a great little place.
