The 62nd edition of the Estate Fiesolana festival in Fiesole (overlooking Florence) is ongoing and like every year it hosts a number of Italian and international artists from many backgrounds and performing various arts like Stefano Bollani and David Byrne.
July offers the most interesting events. Almost every evening a new performance in the splendid location of Fiesole will make your day with a magical touch. Almost all events are performed at the Roman Theater of Fiesole, a splendid scenery to frame this series of cultural and entertainment happenings in Tuscany.
Theater, music and cinema are the three arts covered during this series of performances, developing through classical music, prose, cinema, jazz, and art, concentrating for an entire month on performances that enhance communication and art understanding. The new stage at the Roman Theater was completed for the 60th edition of the festival, and makes the fruition of each staging more poignant. The uniqueness of the setting and the archeological importance of the Roman Theater are exhalted by the new stage.
