Gotta do some research first…However I would go for Talamone, Castiglione della Pescaia, Rosignano/Vada on the coast, Civitella Marittima and Paganico South, Stazzema, Cardoso and nearby towns North, Bibbiena, Gerfalco, Stia, Poppi, Montepulciano West….although there are a million others!

Hi, I have asked around quite a bit, and received mixed responses. It seems many are already fully booked up for the summer. Your best bet is to ask the owner of the property you are renting to find someone local. Usually there are people in the area that have the passion of cooking traditional local dishes but are not professional chefs. Their cooking is usually excellent.

Hi,
I’m doing some research for my grandparent who are planning a trip to the tuscan region in Late August-September 2010. It is just the two of them, but they are planning on having friends visit here and there. They would like to have a chef cook for them on an everyday basis. Neither of my grandparents are picky eaters and both speak Italian and would love the company of a friendly, outgoing chef. A house that we are looking at currently is located just outside of Siena, but they aren’t set on it. Is there anyone in the region /area that wouldn’t be too expensive that would be interested in the position?

If you could let me know that would be amazing! Thank you for your help!

I’d say by far Terrazza Mascagni is the most photographic piazza of Italy! I guess that is why they used it for the “voglio vivere cosi” campaign.

But what are the other famous and beautiful piazze of Tuscany? I wrote about it here (http://ow.ly/1aQl4) and I’d love to have your input on the google map – what’s YOUR favourite piazza in Italy?

The flags of Siena are beautiful! Go see this exhibit if you can. If you can’t make it to Italy, you can also see the flags in the dining hall of The Hearst Castle in San Simeon.
