Experience Tuscany

A series of initiatives to visit the Chianti of Berardenga just 20 minutes from Siena that will make your Sunday in Tuscany. Sundays are quite lazy, only in rare occasion someone is working so shops are closed, and all in all there is not much to do. Not that while you are vacationing in Tuscany this is a prime problem, but you might be interested in using up your Sunday morning more productively, especially if it is your first full day in Tuscany right after arrival at your accommodation.

From April until November, the Comune di Castelnuovo Berardenga offers a low cost opportunity to visit the Chianti portion of its territory while discovering art works from the past and the present, natural hidden environments, historical and cultural places, and interesting architectural centers with churches, monasteries, castles, villas, gardens of Chianti, without missing little towns off the beaten track that preserve all the original aspects from the past. There will also be visits to local farms through their wine and olive oil producing estates, with the possibility to participate to wine tastings and food tastings. The great wines of Chianti and its products such as cold cuts and cheeses, among many others, are a strong incentive to participating to these tours, as all the hassle of organizing a customized tour (most of the times only for parties of 4 or more people) is taken away from you and offered at a great price.
The cost per person is only 8 Euros including the tour and the tasting. The tour starts at 9,30AM from Castelnuovo Berardenga on board of a minibus and ends in the same place at 1,30PM. You will pay the tour at the moment of departure, a very simple hassle-free payment way. The only required thing is to book the tour prior to Noon of the Friday before the Sunday you will be participating, and tours will only depart if there are a minimum of 10 participants.
