The Black Sun Disco Club is few kilometers away from Punta Ala on the Tuscan coast and few meters from the sea. After talking about the way the municipality of Grosseto connects this club to Castiglion della Pescaia and Grosseto with the Disco-Bus it is only fair I spend few words describing this place.
The Black Sun is a bit of a picky club on the beach, but it welcomes anyone nonetheless. During wintertime it is an indoor club. The structure of the club is very intriguing. It is a pyramid of tanned glass, so during the day it resembles a black granite pyramidal block, but at night you can see all the lasers and colored lights beaming from the inside. As a sort of call, the club uses a very powerfull beam of light that flashes to the sky at night and that can be seen from many miles of distance.
During summer time the outdoor comes alive with nice gazebos all around the dance floor. Each Saturday night at 11pm the club opens always offering a famous DJ that creates a spectacular event each time.
The club is also a great place to hang out with friends as the music outdoor is not deafening. Pinups and male dancers spice up the ambient without vulgarity. Drinks are on the expensive side, but the entrance includes a drink (the entrance is around 15 Euros), then each cocktail is 6 Euros.
